Refund / Payback Policy
This Refund & Payback Policy applies to purchases, subscriptions and renewals made with RINS.AI Pvt Ltd, including DPA QuickScan, CarbonSight, MSP plans and enterprise subscriptions.
1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the platform, provided that your usage has not exceeded reasonable trial usage limits (for example, no high-volume bulk scans, mass evidence uploads, or extensive ESG dataset processing).
2. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will generally not be issued for:
- 1Renewals or subscription periods older than 7 days.
- 2Accounts with heavy or abusive usage.
- 3Setup, onboarding, training or consulting fees.
- 4Customized enterprise deployments or professional services.
- 5Special discounted, promotional or custom-negotiated contracts.
3. Conditions for Refund Approval
Refunds are considered on the basis of:
- 1Time of request (within 7 days).
- 2Reason for dissatisfaction or technical issues.
- 3Level of usage of the platform.
- 4Compliance with our Terms of Service.
RINS.AI reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not satisfy these conditions.
4. Partial Refunds
In certain limited cases, we may offer partial refunds, for example where only part of a service was delivered or where a significant technical outage affected access. Partial refunds are assessed case-by-case.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at billing@rins.ai with the following information:
- 1Your account email address.
- 2Invoice or transaction number.
- 3A brief explanation of the reason for your request.
We will respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will typically be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the account portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing. You will retain access to the platform until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
7. Enterprise and MSP Agreements
Enterprise and MSP contracts may include specific commercial terms, commitment periods, non-refundable onboarding fees, or tailored SLAs. Where such contracts exist, their terms will take precedence over this general policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Payback Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website and will show the effective 'Last Updated' date.
